To tell you honestly, I wasn't really impressed with the beach here in Dampalitan. I found it not worth it since we rode a boat just to get here. According to the boatmen, Borawan was already full of tourists that's why we didn't have any choice but to spend our night here in Dampalitan. We're a big group, composed of 27 individuals, and during that time I don't know what's gonna happen or if we will be able to enjoy our stay. There was a netted part in the beach, supported by the woods. Guess what, this is only the place suitable for swimming. In short, we weren't able to swim and enjoy the water. After an hour, the rain poured. I think this is the answer to our complain about the beach. We just spent our time enjoying the view. Taking tons of pictures and exploring the shore. On the right side of the beach facing the sea, we enjoyed the beautiful color of the sky plus the romantic effect of the rocky shore. Thanks to the magnificent scenery and sky during late afternoon and early evening. At least, there's still a good reason why it's good to spend an overnight stay in Dampalitan.
About an hour of boat ride, we visited Puting buhangin. We reached the island around 9:00 AM when the sun was really shining up in the sky, and that made the beach so attractive. It has a smaller cove yet very nice shore, whiter than Dampalitan and a very clear and inviting water. I told myslef, "this is it!" I can finally swin and enjoy the water. We had lots of photo ops, and the highlight was exploring kwebang lampas and the back part of it. It was rocky there but we found a nice place where we snorkeled and enjoy the view.
REMINDER: You can go there (if you don't know how to swim) when it is still early in the morning. You can easily walk and grasp on the rock. When we decided to go back to the boat 11:00 AM, we had a hard time because the water was already 2-3 feet higher. I looked and supported others especially those who don't know how to swim. And finally, to our last stop, Borawan island....
